Assignmap is a planning tool for university assignments: you paste a brief, it produces a work plan, and it can check your own draft against a rubric. By using it you agree to these terms.
Assignmap runs in your browser and works without an account. An account adds sync across devices and hosted AI generation, with a free monthly generation quota. We may change the quota, features, or pricing of the free and paid tiers; if you have paid for something, we will honour what you paid for.
Assignmap does not write your assignment. It plans the work — deliverables, tasks, schedule — and reviews your own draft against the rubric. It produces no text intended for submission, and you agree not to use it to misrepresent someone else's work, including an AI's, as your own.
Your institution's rules on AI tools apply to you, not to us, and they differ by course. It is your responsibility to check whether AI-based planning or feedback tools are permitted before using Assignmap for assessed work.
Plans, estimates, and draft feedback are generated by AI and can be wrong: a misread requirement, a bad time estimate, a wrong date. They are suggestions, not authority. The assignment brief and your institution's instructions always win, and checking against them is your responsibility.
The briefs, drafts, and projects you put into Assignmap remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to operate the service: to store what you sync and to send project text to an AI model provider when you ask for a generation, as described in the privacy policy.
Do not abuse the service: no attempts to break authentication or access other users' data, no circumventing quotas, no automated scraping of the hosted AI, and nothing unlawful.
Assignmap is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for consequences of relying on generated output — including grades or missed deadlines. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using Assignmap at any time and delete your account yourself from Account → Your data → Delete account, which removes it and every synced project immediately. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Local data in your browser is unaffected by either.
If these terms change materially, we will note it here with a new effective date; continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by Swiss law. Questions: support@assignmap.com.
